New York have beaten Chicago last month in the road matchup 99-74.
New York Liberty (8-0) will host the out-of-form Chicago Sky (2-5) in Tuesday’s doubleheader clash in the 2025 WNBA season. The defending champions are on a eight-game winning streak and are yet to drop a game in the league since the last year’s WNBA finals triumph against the Lynx.
It has been a dominant season for the Liberty and during the winning run, they set new records such as biggest blowout victory and most 3-pointers in a game. In previous game, the Liberty outclassed the Mystics 86-78 to extend their unbeaten record. New York have beaten Chicago last month in the road matchup 99-74. One more victory will help them to chase the record for biggest winning streak in the league history.
Chicago Sky enter the fixture with a 79-52 loss against the Fever, who played without Caitlin Clark. It was their first loss since a two-game losing streak. The Sky posted a 2-5 record in the start of the season and they looked poor in the offense. Sky have been outscored by overall 60 points in the second-half in all five defeats and won just one quarter during the process. They are currently the worst side playing in the second half.
