If Clark comes back for this game, Indiana can end New York's 9-game winning streak on Saturday.
Indiana Fever will host the defending champions, New York Liberty in the highly-anticipated WNBA showdown on Saturday afternoon. It will be their second meeting in the regular season. Liberty won the previous tie 90-88 which remains the closest victory for the reigning winners this season and was last appearance for Caitlin Clark before going out due to an injury. The last Fever-Liberty game was the second most-watched WNBA game of the year.

Indiana Fever enter the fixture with a 77-58 loss to Dream on Tuesday and they are currently 2-1 in the Commissioner’s Cup play. Since Clark’s injury, the Fever went 2-3 in the regular season. Indiana made into the playoffs after a longtime but this year, they would look to make a deep run in the playoffs. Fever remains the only team who came close to beat Liberty this season. Indiana lost a game after taking an eight-point lead after three quarters.
On the other hand, the Liberty are on a franchise-best 9-0 start to the 2025 WNBA season. The defending champions thrashed Chicago Sky 85-66 in the previous game to maintain their unbeaten run. New York also improved to 3-0 in the Commissioner’s Cup. Liberty outscored the Fever 22-12 in the fourth quarter to take a 1-0 lead in the regular-season series. If Clark comes back for this game, Indiana can end New York’s 9-game winning streak on Saturday. Liberty would become the third team in the WNBA history to take a 10-0 start if they survive a defeat in Indianapolis.
