Sean Brady competes in UFC’s welterweight division and is known for his exceptional grappling and well-rounded fighting style. He earned his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training under Daniel Gracie at Renzo Gracie Philly gym. Before coming to the UFC, Brady amassed an undefeated record of 10-0 and also captured the Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFF) welterweight title.
Brady made his UFC debut back in October of 2019 and had no problems in taking out Court McGee. He then went on a 5 win streak in the UFC and only the current welterweight champion, Belal Muhammad, was able to take him down so far. His victories also includes wins against notable fighters such as Gilbert Burns, Kelvin Gastelum, Michael Chiesa, more, showcasing his suffocating ground game and improved striking. Brady is currently ranked as the 5th best fighter in the welterweight division and has remained a dangerous contender.

Sean Brady will take on the Leon Edwards at UFC Fight Night 255, on March 22nd, at O2 Arena, London, England. The fight between the two will be the main event of the evening. Outside of the fight against Belal Muhammad, Edwards will be the toughest challenge for the American so far.
Both of these fighters have a lot to gain from winning the fight. If Brady defeats Edwards, he’ll climb further into the rankings and potentially challenge Muhammad for the Belt someday. This is a huge opportunity for him as he’s never gotten this close for a chance at the title in his UFC career. For Edwards, after coming off of a loss against the champ, he is looking to redeem himself and stay amongst the top contenders for a shot at the title. Since Edwards recently claimed that he wasn’t his usual self in the fight against Muhammad, he needs to show the world that there’s still juice left in him to pursue another title run.

Brady is a near perfect 17-1-0 so far in his MMA career, and is 7-1 in the UFC. He has only lost to Belal Muhammad in his entire MMA career and while many fighters tend to go on a losing streak after a big loss, Brady battled adversity and has won two more fights since.

mma I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
