The Bahrain GP Qualifying is scheduled to take place on April 12, 2025.
The Bahrain GP Qualifying is going to decide the fate the of drivers racing in the desert on Sunday. Bahrain is known for being unpredictable and hard on tyres. The drivers were able to nurse their tyres in the cool environment of Japan one week ago. Sakhir won’t be as gracious to them. The rookies will face the intense heat of Bahrain for the first time in their career.
Formula 1 is an extreme sport and the discomfort rises by a huge margin in the boiling environment of the desert. The race is also going to take place during the night. Even though, the temperatures are expected to be cooler, tyre graining and overheating of cars will be prominent. It won’t be an exaggeration to predict an engine blowout like Daniel Ricciardo’s RB in 2015.
A smokey finish! 😱

Pirelli has already determined the tyre strategy for Bahrain GP. They have allowed teams to choose from their three hardest tyre compounds for the race. The C1, C2 and C3 tyres are Pirelli’s options for this weekend. The hard compound tyres will combat the tyre graining and overheating better. As a result, teams will be able to maintain their race pace on a better level. Why? Because, they will spend less time wondering about the tyre degradation with hard compound tyres.
Let’s go through the Qualifying TV Schedule to stay ready for the grid positions before the “duel in the desert” starts in 2025.

nhl I work as a Writer at The Playoffs specialising in NHL, Formula 1 and Motorsports. I got into online journalism a couple of years ago. I used to be an intern for a website managing their Formula 1 content and then I served an entire year as a contractual writer.
Read moreFor me, online journalism was not something I expected. I am a Mechanical Engineer aiming to join Formula 1. At the same time, I am a poet, writer and my university’s Literary Club Lead. One day the dots connected together and I realised I could use my writing skills to convey my passion for Motorsports.
The biggest aspects I love about my role are- Scuderia Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel. When I am not fawning over them I like to convey my opinions to the public, in a manner which helps them gain a new point of view. I love helping people explore new ideas about Motorsports and obviously get recognised as a writer all over the world.
Message to Readers: I promise you one day you’ll see me managing operations on track with a Formula 1 team ; )
