Bahrain Grand Prix 2025 is the first time F1 is going to race at night in the 2025 F1 season. Bahrain is an unforgiving desert which is known for its famous battles over the years in F1. The Bahrain GP will mark the fourth race of the current season. Bahrain is often switched to host F1’s first race of the season.

Usually, it stays as the fourth race in the calendar. The Bahrain GP is the second time F1 visits the circuit during one calendar year. The circuit is also crucial for the pre-season testing of the teams.

The 2025 Bahrain GP is going to feature six Formula 2 drivers during the practice session. They will serve the mandatory testing time for the teams during the Bahrain GP race. The 2025 Formula 1 schedule features a much longer testing schedule for its younger drivers. This way, the upcoming junior talents can familiarise themselves better with F1 cars.

The Bahrain Grand Prix 2025 testing aims at increasing the roster of the present F1 teams. Ferrari, Red Bull, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Haas and Williams are the teams participating in the first testing of F2 drivers at Bahrain.

Bahrain Grand Prix 2025 Schedule

The FORMULA 1 GULF AIR BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX 2025 is going to take place from April 11-13, 2025 at the Bahrain International Circuit. The race is a 57 long event spanning over a total distance of 308.238 kms around the circuit. The Bahrain GP will be a normal race weekend featuring three practice sessions. The first two practice sessions will take place on Friday. The final practice for the Bahrain GP and Qualifying session will take place on Saturday.

As per official website of Formula 1, Bahrain Grand Prix FP1 will start from 2:30 PM track time on Friday. The Qualifying session is scheduled from 7:00 PM track time on Saturday. Qualifying will be one hour long, divided into three stages. The session will take place under the lights, like the race.
