NHL players and coaches set to be honored after another season of hard work!
The 2024-25 NHL season is nearly over, with game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final starting tonight. While the regular season has been over for some time now, fans have been kept busy enjoying the postseason.
But, as the season winds down, it is now time to recognize the players and coaches who have done a commendable job this season. So, without further ado, let us dive into the details of this year’s NHL awards.
The 2025 NHL awards will be aired on June 12 prior to Game 4 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final. Although the main ceremony will be aired on June 12, some of the awards will be declared in advance in a unique way, as the league will release a series of special surprise videos declaring the winners across league platforms.
For example, the league has already declared Florida Panthers’ Aleksander Barkov as the winner of the Selke Trophy and the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, while Tampa Bay Lightning’s Nikita Kucherov has won this year’s Ted Lindsay Award.

As per the official communication on the NHL’s website, the start time for the 2025 NHL Awards will be 6:00 PM ET, and it will be a one-hour special. The event will be telecast on TNT in the United States and on Sportsnet in Canada.
Game 4 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final will begin at 8:00 PM ET, which means there will be an hour’s gap between the end of the NHL awards and the start of Game 4.
The location for the 2025 NHL Awards has not been revealed, but the event will be hosted by actor Isaiah Mustafa. It will be the first time that the Hart Memorial Trophy and Vezina Trophy winners will be declared at the NHL Awards program.

The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
