WWE is set for its last episode before the 2025 Royal Rumble. It will be the last episode of Friday Night SmackDown this month. Fifteen WWE superstars have already announced their entrance to the 30-Men Royal Rumble. We expect a few more to announce their participation today. WWE has announced three matches so far for the Friday Night SmackDown.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown will be aired live at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET on January 31, 2025.
The three-hour-long SmackDown will air live from Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. The arena can hold 19,000 fans. This is the home ground of the Indiana Pacers of the NBA and Indiana Fever in the WNBA.

Michin has tried defeating Chelsea Green numerous times but the ringside presence of Piper Niven has kept her away from the Women’s United States Championship. Michin has now got the support of B-Fab in case Piper Niven interrupts. It will be interesting to see whether Chelsea Green can defend her title of her own.

Liv Morgan has had an upper hand on Naomi when it comes to WWE. The Women’s Tag Team Champions lost to Team Morgan owing to an interruption from Dominic Mysterio last week. It would be an opportunity for Naomi to seek out her revenge.
Jimmy Uso and Carmelo Hayes have been having verbal spats for the past few weeks now. Both of them met a few episodes back but the match ended in disqualification owing to an interruption from Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga. Big Jim and Melo are now scheduled to face each other today.
Pretty Deadly has been interrupting MCMG’s match to stop them from winning but their moves have backfired every time. MCMG will face DIY at the Royal Rumble in a 2-out-of-3 fall match. The tension between these two teams rose to such an extent that they will be facing each other on SmackDown in an eight-man tag team match.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown will be a three-hour-long episode starting at 8 p.m. ET and ending at 11 p.m. ET on Friday.
