What Draft Picks Do the Buffalo Bills Have in 2025? All Buffalo Bills 2025 NFL Draft Picks per Round

Will the Bills be aggressive in the 2025 NFL draft?

After having witnessed the interviews, tests, and physical workouts of the 2025 draftees, the next agenda for NFL teams is the upcoming draft in the final week of April. Of course, till then franchises will have time to plan their roster moves and invite players for further interaction.

For the Buffalo Bills, the 2025 NFL draft will be yet another important one as they continue their journey in search of a first Super Bowl appearance since 1994. Recently, the Bills have had tremendous success in reaching the latter stages of the playoffs, only to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs. With each passing year, there is renewed hope that this will be their year, but until they get over the hump, nothing will change.

Unfortunately for Buffalo though, their appearance in the AFC Championship round in 2024 means they will be selecting at the tail end of the draft in each round. Nonetheless, you can never count them out especially with Josh Allen leading from the front as we witnessed last season. The Bills made surprising moves in the offseason and the draft, yet managed to nearly make it to Super Bowl LIX. We shall see if this year will be another draft-day surprise.

What Are the Bills’ Draft Picks in 2025?

For the moment, the Bills have 10 draft selections from 7 rounds in 2025. They will be drafting in rounds 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6. If things stand as they are and the Bills do not engage in any trades, they will not have selections in rounds 3 and 7. Buffalo has 4 selections that are their own picks and another 3 that they have received from other teams via trade capital. They have also received 3 compensation picks.

Positional Needs for the Buffalo Bills ahead of 2025 NFL Draft

Buffalo’s main need lies on the defensive line and lucky for them, the 2025 draft class is considered to be a strong one at this position. The Bills need to improve their defensive tackle and edge positions. Granted, by the time Buffalo selects its first pick, many of the top edge rushers may already have a new home, but the class is deep so you never know whom you can land.

Second of all, Buffalo was extremely lucky to have had a high-caliber year from Josh Allen despite not having a true WR1 for most of the season. Perhaps that was the reason why he won the MVP, but looking ahead, the Bills need to find depth as Amari Cooper is now a free agent. Keon Coleman was coming along well last season, but he still needs to develop, while Khalil Shakir is strong in the slot, but more depth in the receiver room is the need of the hour.

Another area where the Bills will need to focus is their secondary. One big hole to fill is that of safety Micah Hyde, who recently retired after the Bills’ loss in the AFC Championship game. Those are huge shoes to fill. Furthermore, cornerback Rasul Douglas is a free agent, which will leave the Bills thin in the secondary.

I am a content writer for the NFL team, and joined The Playoffs after working with Sportskeeda and NFL Analysis as an NFL writer. After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
