Tetairoa McMillan could be the first wide receiver off the board!

Top draft prospect at the 2025 NFL draft, Tetairoa McMillan is a wide receiver who played his collegiate football at the University of Arizona as a member of the Arizona Wildcats football team. Assuming that Travis Hunter will be drafted into the NFL as a cornerback, McMillan is widely considered to be the best wide receiver in this draft class and should be one of the first players off the board on draft day.

McMillan joined the Wildcats in 2022 and started 8 games as a true freshman racking up 307 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns that season. He followed that up with back-to-back excellent seasons finishing the 2023 season with 1,402 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns and the 2024 season with 1,319 and 8 touchdowns. Last season McMillan earned First-team All-Big 12 and Consensus All-American honors.

Standing at a height of 6 ft 4 in and weighing 219 lb, McMillan is a tall and strong receiver who makes plays with the ball in his hands. He has a great burst off the line and enough speed to create separation allowing him to find open spaces with ease. Moreover, McMillan has demonstrated his top route running skills throughout his college career as well as his ability to make catches away from his body.

I am a content writer for the NFL team, and joined The Playoffs after working with Sportskeeda and NFL Analysis as an NFL writer. After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
