Warriors vs Grizzlies – Stephen Curry has WORST GAME of his NBA career as Warriors hit a new low in blowout to Grizzlies

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors hit a new low against Grizzlies.

It’s not common to see Stephen Curry have a bad day on the court, but on Thursday night, he experienced the worst game of his entire NBA career as the Golden State Warriors were thrashed 144-93 by the Memphis Grizzlies.

Curry, who is considered one of the best shooter in league’s history, had a night to forget, finishing with just 2 points on 0-of-7 shooting from the field, including 0-of-6 from three-point range.

His struggles didn’t stop there. The 36-year-old also committed 2 turnovers and finished with a career-worst minus-41 in plus-minus.

This was the lowest point total Curry has ever had in a game where he played 24 minutes or more.

It also marked the seventh time in Curry’s career that he has failed to score from the field, first time in six years.

Before tonight, Curry’s worst career plus-minus was -32, so his -41 was an alarming new low. While Curry’s shooting woes were evident, the entire Warriors’ team struggled to keep pace with a scorching Grizzlies squad that set the tone early and never let up.

Warriors’ struggles continue

The loss was a crushing blow for the Warriors, who are now 1-9 in their last 10 games. This was also the fifth-largest margin of defeat in franchise history.

The defense has been the biggest let down in recent games, giving up 287 points in their last two games.

Veteran Draymond Green had a dismal outing as well, finishing with a triple donut. Green also contributed 4 turnovers and was a non-factor throughout the contest.

A new high for Grizzlies

The Grizzlies, meanwhile, were firing on all cylinders, setting a franchise record with 27 three-pointers. This performance helped Memphis reach their third-highest point total in franchise history. Despite a back issue that limited him, Ja Morant didn’t need to carry the team on his own.

The Grizzlies’ bench stepped up in a big way, contributing 82 points, a new season-high for Memphis. Their previous best was 71 points from the bench.

Memphis’ 51-point victory was the largest in the NBA this season, surpassing their previous best, a 45-point win at Portland earlier this year.
