Currently playing in his 22nd season, LeBron already holds the record for the most combined minutes in the regular season and playoffs, logging 69,262 minutes on the court.

5. Kevin Garnett – 50,418 Minutes (1,462 Games)

Kevin Garnett’s 21-year career saw him dominate on both from offensive and defensive ends. Nicknamed “The Big Ticket,” was the heart and soul of the Minnesota Timberwolves during his prime. In his 21 seasons, Garnett logged in 50,418 minutes on the court.

4. Dirk Nowitzki – 51,368 Minutes (1,522 Games)

Dirk Nowitzki’s illustrious 21-season career made him a global ambassador for basketball. The seven-foot sharpshooter led the Dallas Mavericks to an NBA championship in 2011. His longevity and loyalty to one franchise led him to log 51, 368 minutes on the court.

NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s dominance spanned 20 seasons. The Lakers superstar held the record for most career minutes in NBA history, with 57446 minutes in over 1,560 games for long. However, his long-standing record has now been broken by LeBron James.

LeBron James, in his 22nd season, continues to redefine longevity in the NBA. A four-time MVP and champion, is still churning out peak performances at 39. He set the most career minutes record in the game against Sacramento Kings on December 19, 2024.
