Ja Morant delivered yet another jaw-dropping dunk!
Ja Morant has never been one to shy away from putting on a show. Whether it’s a jaw-dropping alley-oop, a fearless drive to the basket, or a dunk that seems to defy gravity itself, the Memphis Grizzlies star is a one-man highlight reel. Saturday night was no different as Morant added another insane dunk to his highlight package in the Grizzlies’ 127-121 victory over the Boston Celtics.
With the game in the third quarter and Memphis leading, Morant took off on a baseline drive that had the TD Garden crowd buzzing. As he sprinted toward the basket, Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick White rotated over in an attempt to block the shot, but Morant was having none of it.
In a move that would have made most players second-guess their options, the 20-year-old rising star double-clutched mid-air, and still managed to throw down a filthy reverse dunk.
Morant’s insane reverse dunk comes just days after he revealed that he would not dunk to avoid any serious injury. Following a loss against the Dallas Mavericks, Morant said to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon: “I’m not trying to dunk at all. Y’all think I’m lying. I’m dead serious.”

Morant finished the game with 32 points, 9 assists, and 9 rebounds as the Grizzlies stunned the defending champion Boston Celtics at their home. Jaren Jackson Jr. also had a productive outing, scoring 27 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter.
For the Celtics, Jrue Holiday led the scoring chart with 23 points, while Jaylen Brown and Payton Pritchard added 22 apiece.
