Bronny James made his third G League appearance on Saturday.
Bronny James marked his return from injury in style, scoring a career-high 16 points as South Bay Lakers secured a 119-111 win over San Diego Clipper in G League matchup on Saturday.
The Lakers rookie was out of action since early November due to a heel contusion injury. On Saturday, the 20-year-old returned against the San Diego Clippers and put on by far his best performance in a Lakers jersey.
Bronny finished with 16 points, 4 rebounds, and two assists while shooting 6/15 from the field and 0/4 from beyond the arc.

Notably, this was Bronny’s third appearance in the G League. According to the Los Angeles Lakers’ current arrangement, the son of LeBron James will only play in the G League affiliate’s home games.
With the South Bay Lakers set to hit the road for the next four games, Bronny James will return to the bench for the Lakers’ game against the Trail Blazers on Sunday.
The 20-year-old rookie last appeared in NBA action on Nov. 10 against the Toronto Raptors and has missed nine games since due to injury.
Bronny has played 16 total minutes at the NBA so far, scoring four points on 1/6 from the field.
