UFC Kansas City Betting Odds

The betting odds for UFC Kansas City show some interesting opportunities for those looking to place wagers. According to BetMGM, the main event is notably close with Machado Garry sitting as a slight -135 favorite over Prates at +110, reflecting the competitive nature of this matchup. The biggest favorite on the card is Ikram Aliskerov at a massive -650 against Andre Muniz (+475), suggesting oddsmakers see this as nearly a foregone conclusion.

Some potentially valuable underdog plays include Anthony Smith at +400 against the heavily favored Zhang Mingyang (-550). While Zhang has been impressive, Smith’s experience and crafty submission game could make for an interesting retirement farewell if he can weather the early storm. Michel Pereira stands as a betting favourite at –160 against Abus Magomedov (+135). Giga Chikadze is an underdog (+145) against David Onama (-175). The oddsmakers have Randy Brown as a favourite (-220) over the Nicolas Dalby (+180).

UFC Kansas City Main Card Predictions

Ian Garry is the more technical fighter with a solid win over Michael “Venom” Page and a an exquisite performance against Shavkat Rakhmonov. Carlos Prates brings serious power and improving takedown defense. If we have to bet on the fight, it would be Ian Garry to win via unanimous decision.

The co-main event could see Anthony Smith defy the odds in his retirement fight. Zhang Mingyang has looked impressive, but if Smith can survive the early onslaught and drag the fight into deep waters, his experience and submission skills might allow him to end his career on a high note. We predict that Giga Chikadze would outpoint David Onama, winning a unanimous decision. Michel Pereira, though he is an entertaining fighter, lacks the cardio to take on Abus Magomedov. However, his KO power can end the fight in an instant. We are still going with Magomedov to win via decision.

Randy Brown’s technical striking advantage should earn him a decision victory over the aging but still dangerous Nicolas Dalby. Perhaps the safest prediction on the card is Ikram Aliskerov, who should overwhelm Andre Muniz with pressure and power for a finish in the early rounds.
