The UFC has decided to entertain their fans with a fight between Anthony ‘Lionheart’ Smith and Zhang Mingyang. This fight is a part of UFC Light Heavyweight division and will be held at UFC Fight Night: Machado Garry vs Prates on April 26, 2025.

Anthony Smith is presently in his second tenure with the UFC, having spent his earlier tenure as part of both Strikeforce and UFC from 2011 to 2013. He returned to the promotion in 2016. Zhang “Mountain Tiger” Mingyang has become one of the relative newcomers to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Originally from Qingdao, Shandong, China, he initially in MMA in various promotions in China like Wu Ling Feng (WLF) and Huya Fighting Champion (HFC) in his career as per Tapology. His journey to the UFC started with Road to UFC 1.1 on June 9, 2022, where he defeated Tuco Tokkos.
