UFC 313 Results- Ignacio Bahamondes pulls off stunning arm triangle against Jalin Turner to enter top 15 at Lightweight!

Ignacio Bahamondes came into the fight as an unranked fighter in the lightweight division. Whereas Jalin Turner, his opponent, was ranked 13th on the list. From 2020 to 2022, Turner had five straight wins, but was 1-3 in his last four fights. Bahamondes was the favorite to win the fight and that is exactly how it went down. Bahamondes defeated Ignacio, as quick as possible, at UFC 313 and the fight was not even close.

Earlier Turner was favored to win the fight but the odds flipped and he was the underdog going into the fight.

Ignacio Bahamondes could not be stopped

Bahamondes at UFC 313 was, simply put, a problem. On the UFC 313 main card, Bahamondes made his opponent, Jalin Turner, tap out at 2:29 of round one the fight, utilizing a beautiful arm triangle.

Turner started the fight on the ground and wanted to work from there. However, Bahamondes quickly shut that down immediately. He won his third-straight fight and has finished 5 of his last 6 fights.

On the other hand, Turner has now lost four of his last five fights. After the fight, he also may have indicated to reporters that he is done fighting and could very well retire.

Belal Muhammad was ecstatic after Bahamondes win

Bahamondes’ training partner, Belal Muhammad, was really happy to see him win. You could see the clear joy on Muhammad’s face after Bahamondes made Turner tap out.

With Bahamondes winning the fight, he will now enter top-15 in the lightweight division and the future looks bright for the Chilean!
