Spurs Aim to Secure Europa League Final Spot Against Resilient Bodø/Glimt in Norway
Tottenham Hotspur will travel to Norway to face Bodø/Glimt for the second leg of the Europa League semifinals. After a dominating 3-1 victory at home last week, Ange Postecoglou and his side will strictly mean business. Having a two-goal lead, the final stages of the UEL are theirs to miss out on.
Bodø/Glimt have impressed everyone, making it to the final four of the European competitions. However, it’ll be a mountain to climb for them as they will hope their fans get behind them at the Aspmyra Stadium. Manager Kjetil Knutsen, after winning the Eliteserien in 2024, will aim to take the club to new heights if they manage the comeback at home today.

The Norwegian side will miss out on players like Daniel Bassi, G. Vetti and Brunstad Fet. Manager Knutsen will have most of his attacking prowess available as he will want the home fans to get behind them. Moreover, after having a rough 2024 on injuries, Bodø/Glimt has attained stability in its squad around the summer of 2025.
Bodø/Glimt Predicted XI: Haikin; Bjørkan, Gundersen, Bjørtuft, Sjøvold; Saltnes, Berg, Evjen; Hauge, Høgh, Blomberg

Postecoglou and Tottenham Hotspur will miss out on some major names for the second leg. James Maddison, Lucas Bergvall and Hehng Min-Son have not travelled with the squad following their injury situation. Talking about Maddison’s absence, Postecoglou in his pre-game interview said
“Madders from the first leg, obviously tweaked his knee in the first leg. So he’s out. He’ll miss the rest of this season — disappointing for him.”
Striker Dom Solanke will be a boost added to the squad as Postecoglou was deemed good to go by Postecoglou. With his defensive recruitments back to fitness, the Australian manager will hope for his attacking youngsters to step up on Thursday.
Tottenham Hotspur Predicted XI: Vicario; Udogie, Can de Ven, Romero, Porro; Bentancur, Bissouma, Kulusevski; Tel, Solanke, Johnson
