Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert made NFL history in the Week 13 clash against the Atlanta Falcons. With just 111 yards needed to surpass Jameis Winston for second-most passing yards in a player’s first five NFL seasons, Herbert achieved the milestone in the first half of the game.
The 25-year-old, who entered the game with 19,627 career passing yards, eclipsed the mark with another impressive performance, completing 11 of 15 passes for 115 yards in the first two quarters.
Herbert is now only behind Hall of Famer Peyton Manning (20,618 yards) on this illustrious list.
Herbert has been crucial for a Chargers team currently boasting a 7-4 record this season.
