Stephanie Vaquer kept a good eye on the match between Jordynne Grace and Giuiia.
One of the most dominant and hard-hitting champions, Stephanie Vaquer, has already made a name for herself in Japan, North America, and South America. After making her WWE debut in 2024, she quickly rose to the top of the NXT roster and claimed the WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship at NXT Vengeance Day. She dethroned NXT Women’s Champion, Giulia, at Roadblock to become the first double champion in NXT.
Stephanie Vaquer successfully defended both her titles on the same day, but later had to relinquish her North American title. She has successfully defended her title ever since against divas like Jordynne Grace, Giulia, Jaida Parker, and Roxanne Perez. She defended her title in a fatal four-way match at Stand and Deliver. La Primera now has a new opponent to defend her title against at WWE Battleground.
Jordynne Grace and Giulia squared off to decide who would face Stephanie Vaquer at Battleground: Tampa. Jordynne Grace showed everyone why she is known as the Juggernaut and defeated Giulia to become the #1 contender for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship. She will now face Stephanie Vaquer in a title match at NXT Battleground 2025 on May 25, 2025, in Yuengling Center, Florida, USA.
Jordynne Grace and Giulia punished each other physically during the match and tested each other’s endurance inside and outside the ring. They kept the crowd on the edge, yearning for more. There were numerous “This is awesome” chants from the fans during the match. They kicked out of each other’s finishers and took turns to dominate the match. The fans were treated with incredible moves and innovative counters throughout the match.
There is no doubt Jordynne Grace has the power advantage over the entire NXT women’s roster, and she proved it once again. She stood up after receiving some brutal moves. Juggernaut intensified her attack each time Giulia kicked out. Giulia fought hard but finally succumbed to the Michinoku Driver. Jordynne Grace overpowered Giulia and won the match to qualify for her match against Dark Angel at NXT Battleground.
