Sheamus returns on WWE RAW to get his revenge on Ludwig Kaiser!

Sheamus announced his WWE return by getting a revenge on Ludwig Kaiser for attacking him at Survivor Series.

Sheamus made his WWE return at the Monday Night RAW episode on December 30, 2024. Sheamus was out of action since Ludwig Kaiser attacked him with a shillelagh at the Survivor Series: WarGames. The Celtic Warrior attacked Ludwig Kaiser when the Latter was acknowledging the Houston crowd.

Sheamus suffered from broken ribs owing to a brutal attack by Ludwig Kaiser at Survivor Series which ultimately cost him the Intercontinental Champion match. Sheamus entered the ring and started brutalizing Kaiser without wasting a minute. A brutal knee to the face by Sheamus followed by the Brogue Kick sent Ludwig Kaiser out of the ring. Sheamus thus announced his return to WWE giving a clear message to Ludwig Kaiser.

Where did the rivalry between Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus start?

Bronn Breakker was defending his Intercontinental Title against Sheamus when Ludwig Kaiser attacked both of them. Sheamus and Bronn Breakker were having a brutal fight when the attack from Ludwig caught them off-guard. Bronn Breaker was scheduled for a match against Ludwig Kaiser post this attack.

Bronn Breakker was defending his title against Ludwig Kaiser when Sheamus attacked the latter to get his revenge. This didn’t go well with Bronn Breakker who was defending his title for the second time and the second time it ended in disqualification owing to an outsider’s interruption. The brawl between the three started and officials had to intervene.

RAW’s General Manager Adam Pearce announced a triple threat match between Ludwig Kaiser, Sheamus, and Bronn Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship at the Survivor Series. Sheamus was dominating the match and was about to score a pin on Bronn Breakker when Ludwig Kaiser pulled the referee out.

Sheamus went outside the ring to take care of Kaiser, but the latter started a shillelagh attack on Sheamus which injured his ribs. Bronn Breakker took the opportunity and delivered a spear to Ludwig Kaiser and pinned him to retain his title. Sheamus suffered broken ribs and was out of WWE for a month.

The Celtic Warrior’s return to WWE has kick-started the rivalry between Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus and it would be interesting to see whether they face each other at the RAW’s Netflix Premiere.
