Jayden Daniels returned from a hamstring tweak to play against the Seattle Seahawks but things did not go according to plan. The Seahawks right from the opening half, blew the Commanders out of the building, building an insane 31-7 lead going into halftime. Washington has looked significantly worse this year and are 3-6 for the season, while the Seahawks climbed to 6-2 for the season.
The loss was nothing compared to the nightmare of an injury that came at 7:39 left, down 38-7 in the fourth quarter. Daniels scrambled right, got tackled by a defender which hyperextended his left elbow and dislocated on impact. This injury could have been prevented if Daniels was taken out of the game, but head coach Dan Quinn decided to keep him around, even in a blowout, generating a lot of flakk.
Despite the scoring at 38-7 in the fourth quarter, head coach Dan Quinn decided to keep Jayden Daniels in the game, which ultimately led to the injury. Daniels has already suffered multiple injuries this season, missing a lot of time, but Quinn continued to play him despite his QB’s injury history.
After the injury occurred, many fans and Robert Griffin III were confused, shocked, and curious about Quinn’s decision to leave him in the game, despite the blowout. “All I know is that the emotion of watching him in the game with seven minutes left in the game, down 38-7. And my first thought is, why is he still in the game? Like, the Seattle Seahawks have the game won. I understand you wanna play to the end but with the injuries he’s already had this year… Why is he in the game?”
When reporters asked Quinn why he left Daniels in the game, which many wanted to know, he said, “I know many of you have been asking about the though process of Jayden being in the game in that situation,” Quinn said. “I get that. I’ve been thinking about it honestly nonstop too. For me, the answer is ‘I missed it…’ That’s 100 percent on me.”
#Commanders HC Dan Quinn opened his press conference by saying he messed up by keeping QB Jayden Daniels in the game last night down by 31.

mma I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
