Red Bull Racing is Going to Bring Crucial Upgrades for Championship!

The Austrian Grand Prix draws near for the last race of this month. The teams are getting ready to bring in their best upgrades for the upcoming race. Red Bull Racing are one of the teams who will bring upgrades for Austria. In their home race, the Bulls will be looking forward to make a comeback in the championship. Max Verstappen is struggling to compete with the his contenders due to the slower Red Bull car in 2025.

Verstappen had a better run in Canada compared to the top-2 drivers. He was able to secure himself a podium while the McLaren duo lost out on podiums. However, he still has a long way to go before he can overtake the McLarens in the drivers championship. The last time Verstappen won was in at the Imola GP. Since then, the Dutchman has not found himself competing at the front row. Helmut Marko is rather serious about these updates as he considers them the turning point of the championship.

Helmut Marko Explains Red Bull Racing Upgrade Plan for a “Difficult” Championship

Ferrari were the first team to bring in upgrades for Austria. They have been facing a pretty bad season similar to Red Bull Racing. Similar to Ferrari, Red Bull Racing are ready to bring important updates to their car. They have already upgraded the side pods, floor and front wing across the previous weekends in May.

According to Helmut Marko, the upgrades in Austria will be refined further in Silverstone. After these races, the team will focus entirely on the development of the new car.

“We are now getting an update for Austria, which will then be refined again for Silverstone. But if that doesn’t work either, then it will be difficult in the world championship. And it’s not as if it’s not difficult enough already.”

If their upgrades do manage to work, the track is in their favor. Max Verstappen has won the Austrian GP five times in the past. But this time, they won’t just have to compete with the McLarens. Even the Silver Arrows have started picking up pace after Canada. The top-4 teams might have to battle it out fiercely for the front row in Austria.
