Novak Djokovic vs Hubert Hurkacz Preview

Novak Djokovic is just one win away to claim his title No. 100. The 38-year-old tennis superstar came close to reach the milestone in Shanghai and Miami but lost in the title clash. Djokovic will now get another shot on his 100th title and become only the third player to reach the glorious feat after Jimmy Connors (109) and Roger Federer (103). The 24-time major champion had a tough game in the semifinals. Djokovic fumbled with his first match point in the second set but won the final set 6-1 to reach his 143rd career final.

Hubert Hurkacz has came through a roller-coaster ride this season and will be high on pressure against the former world No.1 player in the final. The Polish ace didn’t drop a single set en route to the title clash. Hurkacz overcame the top-seed Taylor Fritz in quarterfinals and didn’t allow Ofner to get settle in the semifinals. The 28-year-old posted a 14-9 record in 2025 and had a dominant 7-2 record on clay court. He could become the third player this year to deny Djokovic 100th career title on Saturday but it requires an extra-ordinary performance.

Novak Djokovic vs Hubert Hurkacz Geneva Open 2025 Prediction

Hubert Hurkacz is a versatile player who emphasises on defensive baseline play and his clay court record (7-2) in 2025 makes him a solid opponent for the final. The Polish ace can stop Djokovic to reach the milestone but it won’t be an easy task. The 24-time grand slam champion looks in a fierce mode and he showed determination through out the competition. Hurkacz can hardly stretch the game to the final set but cannot deny Djokovic that spectacular achievement of 100 career titles.
