Andrey Rublev has a 11-7 record on red clay court putting him at a 61.1% win percentage.
The third-seed Andrey Rublev will lock horns against Felix Auger in the ATP 500 Hamburg Open final. It will be their first ever meeting in any competition. The Russian ace outclassed sixth-seed Felix Auger Aliassime in straight sets in the semifinals, while Felix Auger came from behind to beat Tomas Martin Etcheverry to reach the final.
Playing his 3rd Hamburg final, Andrey Rublev has been a dominant player in the competition. The Russian ace dropped just a single set in Hamburg which was against Darderi in quarterfinals. It will be his 28th career final and has dropped a 37-29 record in the last 52 weeks. He has a record of 6–3 in ATP finals on clay; winning the title at Hamburg in 2020.
Andrey Rublev would look for his second title of the year after Doha. He had a semifinal run at Open Occitanie and a quarterfinal run in Rotterdam. He also reached the round-of-16 in Monte Carlo and Barcelona. Hamburg Open title would raise his confidence ahead of Ronald Garros where he will face Lloyd Harris in first round.

Flavio Cobolli was down 5-4 in the second set in the semifinal but came back from behind to reach his second career 500 final after Washington 2024. The Italian ace would look to return in the top 30 ahead of the Ronald Garros. Flavio made an upset win over fifth-seed Dadidovich Fokina in round-of-16 and got better of Roberto Bautista Agut in quarterfinals. The Italian ace has already won an ATP Tour singles title this year at the 2025 Romanian Open.
It will be the first time when Andrey Rublev and Flavio Cobolli will lock horns in the ATP tournament. Their first-ever meeting is set in the Hamburg Open final which could introduce us a new rivalry.

Andrey Rublev is a special player on the clay court. The Russian ace has a 11-7 record on red clay court putting him at a 61.1% win percentage. No player this decade has more match wins (85) at the ATP 500 level than Rublev and his 350th tour-level win in the semifinal was a statement. Flavio Cobolli has a giant-killer potential and has a 7-16 record against the top-20 players. The Italian ace will rely on his baseline hitting and counter Rublev but it won’t help him to win the maiden ATP 500 title.
