Nico Rosberg Suggests Ferrari May Move to UK!

Rohan Singh

Ferrari are the hotspot of discussion in F1 paddock once again!

Nico Rosberg’s latest speculations may cause a big uproar in Formula 1 paddock. The pride of Maranello and Italy, may consider moving operations to the UK. Ferrari has traditionally centered itself around Italy. It is among the only F1 teams operating out of UK.

However, according to Rosberg this may change soon. The prevalent issues and communication errors of the 2025 season may lead to such a result for Ferrari. The current F1 season is going from bad to worse for the team. They are facing difficulties on every front. The pace of the car is inconsistent. Their drivers are underperforming and not confident enough. Even their team principal could not escape rumors. There were talks about Ferrari replacing Vasseur. Although, they were dismissed promptly by the team and Vasseur himself.

Nico Rosberg Reveals Rumors Regarding Ferrari’s Move to UK

Having won a Formula 1 championship with an immensely successful team, Rosberg has more than enough experience to back his words. The German believes that Ferrari lacks the operational excellence that Mercedes has as an organisation.

He used their current star driver as an example for the same. According to Nico, anytime Lewis had a problem with the car he knew he can communicate it to Toto. This way the problems were resolved quickly and effectively. The same doesn’t go for Ferrari. Rosberg thinks that Hamilton has not idea who to approach in his current team regarding his troubles.

“There’s a couple of ideas that I heard going round. I think Ferrari has been exploring to perhaps open a kind of subsidiary in the UK, because that’s where the F1 ecosystem is. So I’ve heard rumours that they’re also thinking about opening a subsidiary there.”

But Rosberg believes it won’t ne enough for the team. They need to communicate effectively with the headquarters in order to get the best out of the new subsidiary. However, there are many other teams which have overcome the same hurdle. Its not new for teams to have headquarters and operations from different countries. The news comes as a shock to many.

Ferrari and tradition go hand in hand. The Prancing horse has always called Italy as their home. They always sport a devoted fan-base in their home country, “The Tifosi”. If Ferrari does choose to leave Italy, the entire operation will have to be smooth and as quick as possible. It will also mark a significant change in their history. Will the Rosso Corsa outfit shift to UK for a better future in Formula 1?
