NFL Analyst Believes That the Davante Adams Trade Is Enough for the Rams To Win a Super Bowl Title

The Los Angeles Rams were already a strong and a young team with the likes of QB Matthew Stafford, WR Puka Nacua, and now they’ve added another great receiver in Davante Adams. Adams was recently released from the New York Jets and signed a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams and there is a lot of belief that Adams could be the final piece to the puzzle, as Rams may finally have enough to get to the Super Bowl or at least go up against the reigning defending champs and beat them.

The Rams signed Adams to a two-year $46 million deal, which includes $26 million guaranteed. Now that the Rams have Adams, WR Cooper Kupp’s future with the team is in full question. Various reports suggest that the Rams could very well explore trade possibilities for the Super Bowl LVI MVP, who was the cornerstone for the franchise since 2021.

Rams QB, Matthew Stafford, is still producing at an elite level but the problem is that he is already 37 years of age. The Rams are trying to maximize Stafford’s final few years of his prime and the franchise is maybe leaning into believing that this team, presently constructed, can win the Super Bowl.

Collin Cowherd Believes That the Rams Could Win the Super Bowl in the Next Two Years

Now that the L.A Rams have added Davante Adams, NFL analyst Collin Cowherd believes that the team could win the Super Bowl in the next two years. Here is what he had to say;

“The Rams have signed Davante Adams, the former Packer and Jet with Aaron Rodgers. The Rams signed him to a two year deal for pretty hefty money.” Cowherd continued “Well they’re moving off Cooper Kupp. So why go after Davante Adams? The Rams, Sean McVay think they can win a Super Bowl. And Davante Adams and Puka Nacua will be the 1 and 2 wide receivers. They feel they got two years with Matt Stafford, that he can play at a Super Bowl winning level.”

“They’re spending their money on offense and trying to keep their defense young, flexible, and less expensive. This is the Rams’ formula. You got a quarterback that can win the Super Bowl for the next two years. We’re gonna load him up with guys that know the system or know how to play. And so that’s why you get the Davante Adams deal.”

Cowherd has stated a lot of facts and we believe he’s right because Stafford has only two years left on his contract and will be 39 years of age in 2027. The Rams also signed Adams to a two-year deal hoping to maximize the current squad that they have. If the Rams have a win-now plan, the next two years will most likely be their championship window.
