Jeremiah Fears
Jeremiah Fears was born on October 14, 2006, in Chicago, Illinois. He is the son of Jeremy Fears Sr., who played college basketball at Ohio and Bradley, and the younger brother of Jeremy Fears Jr., who currently plays college basketball for Michigan State. Fears attended Joliet West in Joliet, Illinois, and Arizona Compass Prep in Chandler, Arizona, during his high school career. He was a highly recruited player, with rankings from Rivals (44), 247Sports (65), On3 (57), and ESPN (40). For his college career, Jeremiah Fears committed to play college basketball for the Oklahoma Sooners, playing from 2024 to 2025. He quickly demonstrated talent and NBA potential during his time at Oklahoma. In the 2025 NBA draft, Fears was selected seventh overall in the first round by the New Orleans Pelicans. He began his professional career in 2025. At 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) and 190 lb (86 kg), he plays as a point guard or shooting guard for the Pelicans. Jeremiah Fears is known for being one of the youngest members of the 2025 NBA Draft class, not turning 19 until mid-October 2025.
