Duncan Robinson
Duncan Robinson, born on April 22, 1994, is an American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). At 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m) and weighing 215 lb (98 kg), he primarily plays as a small forward or shooting guard. Robinson’s college career began at Williams College, a Division III school, where he played one season. He then transferred to the University of Michigan, a Division I program, for the remainder of his college eligibility. At Michigan, Robinson became a key perimeter shooter, known for his exceptional three-point accuracy. During his three seasons with the Wolverines, he averaged 9.3 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. He was an important contributor to Michigan’s success, including their run to the 2018 NCAA Championship game. Despite his strong shooting ability, Robinson went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft. However, his talent was recognized by the Miami Heat, who signed him to a Summer League contract. His impressive performance in the Summer League earned him a two-way contract with the Heat, allowing him to play for both the Heat and their G-League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
