The 2025 NBA Finals have arguably been the best one since the 2016 Finals when LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers erased a 3-1 deficit against the Golden State Warriors.
We have seen some big-time performances from the stars, but even bench players have risen above the projections during the OKC Thunder vs the Indiana Pacers battles.
For example, during the Pacers’ Game 6 win, Obi Toppin had 20 points, 10 points over the projections. For bettors, it is a great chance to cash in through these role players. Here are my most favored NBA player props for Game 7 based on BetMGM and FanDuel.
Pascal Siakam O 20.5 points for -108 (FanDuel)
Siakam has been in terrific form throughout the playoffs. He had 16 points in the last game, shooting a decent 6/14 from the field. Before that, in Game 5, he had scored an impressive 28 points in an away-from-home scenario.
In fact, he has scored 20 or more in three of the last four games. I expect the Pacers forward to put up at least 21 to close out the season.
Andrew Nembhard O 1.5 three-pointers for +135 (BetMGM)
Nembhard is having an above-average series despite some hiccups. However, he has surely cooled off significantly compared to the first half of the playoffs. During the first two series, he had averaged around 14.5 PPG, but he has fallen to 11.2 PPG.
Earlier, he had nailed over 2 three-pointers/game, and now he is making 1.5 per game. He has hit 2 or more in three of the last six games. I will go for “over” here, it’s worth taking a risk considering the bloated odds.
Obi Toppin O 1.5 three-pointers for +108 (FanDuel)
Toppin lit up the scene in Game 6 and was instrumental behind the Pacers’ win. The forward has saved his best for the championship round. He didn’t even touch the 10 PPG in the previous series, but is currently tallying 12.8 PPG.
He made four triples in Game 6 and has made 2 or more in four of his last seven appearances. I believe he will knock down at least 2 here.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander O 33.5 points for -110 (BetMGM)
SGA has been one of the most interesting features in the player props category. He is usually a point above or below the projected mark. However, he fell to 21 points in Game 6, around 11-12 points below the projected mark.
He has scored 34 or more in five of the last eight games. I expect him to return to his high-scoring ways.
Jalen Williams O 22.5 points (FanDuel)
J-Will has been in terrific form throughout the Finals. He is averaging 24.2 PPG in the championship round on 44.9% shooting. It has been his highest average thus far in the playoffs.
The Wing scored 16 in Game 6 but had scored 40, 27, and 26 in the previous three games, respectively. I believe Williams will score around 25 points in the final game of the season.

I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
