Manny Pacquiao and Mario Barrios’ bout will be taking place on July 19, 2025 in Las Vegas. Mauricio Suleiman, the president of WBC has revealed to an interviewer that Manny Pacquiao will be fighting in the Welterweight division as he wants to retire as WBC Champion. He also stated the fight is going to be tremendous as per the New York Post.
Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao last fought Yordenis Ugas in August 2021 before he went into retirement. Unfortunately, his last fight ended in his loss as Yordenis Ugas used all his size, strength and aggression against the veteran boxer. He used all his skills to wear down Manny Pacquiao during their bout. Lastly Ugas went on to win the fight decisively with a 115-113, 116-112 and 116-`11 result. Following this defeat, Manny Pacquiao, went into retirement until he announced his comeback in 2025.
