Lyra Valkyria will be defending her Women’s Intercontinental Championship in a rematch against Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank. This development in WWE took place on Monday Night Raw last night. Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch notably, last fought each other for the championship at Backlash 2025.

Lyra Valkyria had retained her championship against Becky Lynch but was attacked by her opponent afterwards. The champion retaliated by preventing Becky Lynch from getting qualified during a triple-threat Money in the Bank qualifying match. Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch Accuse Each Other of Making Things Personal

Lyra Valkyria opened the segment by stating that he wants to fight other challengers for her championship. However, Becky Lynch had secured another rematch for herself again. Becky Lynch has also been acting as if she defeated Lyra Valkyria, which she did not. Instead, she made things personal with her jawing with Valkyria’s fiancee during their match at Backlash. Becky Lynch accused Lyra Valkyria of costing her her opportunity at Money in the Bank. She also reminds the champion that she is the best thing that have ever happened to her and her championship. Lyra Valkyria retaliated with the fact that it it not true and people talk about her because she beat “The Man” Becky Lynch. She implied that Becky Lynch is not “The Man” anymore after she defeated her.

Becky Lynch Puts Forward Two Stipulations for the Rematch!

Becky Lynch proposes two stipulations forward for the rematch at Money in the Bank 2025. The first stipulation is that if Becky Lynch loses at Money in the Bank, then she will never again challenge Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

The second stipulation is a bit more complex. Becky Lynch stated that Lyra Valkyria defeated her to win the NXT Women’s Championship on October 24, 2023. However, she raised Lyra Valkyria’s hand in an honorable manner back then. So for the second stipulation, if she beats and wins the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank, then Lyra Valkyria should also do the same. The champion agreed to both the stipulations. She also retaliated with that she has no problem in raising the hand of a woman who is better than her. Notably, Lyra Valkyria has a 2-0 win record against Becky Lynch in the WWE.
