The WWE has returned with its NXT weekly show for the WWE Universe tonight on May 27, 2025. This week’s show will be the direct fallout from the last event NXT Battleground: Tampa on May 25, 2025. The most shocking outcome of the event is Trick Williams of NXT becoming the TNA World Champion by dethroning Joe Hendry, TNA’s former champion. This was a WWE vs TNA match and WWE prevailed.

Stephanie Vaquer has found herself her next opponent immediately NXT Battleground: Tampa. She was assaulted by Jacy Jayne while she was arguing with the newcomers Dalys and Chik Tormenta. She reasoned that even after four years on the roster, she is an afterthought. That is why she has created her own opportunity and taking it. Tatum Paxley will be going against Jaida Parker in a match tonight on NXT to further their singles career.
