Real Madrid’s Push to Sign Liverpool’s Star Defender Could Bring a Lucrative Deal for the Reds

Trent Alexander-Arnold announced his departure from Liverpool at the end of the season in May. With him bidding farewell to his boyhood club, Alexander-Arnold’s transfer to Real Madrid seems like a matter of time.

With the Englishman’s contract expiring in June 2026,  Real Madrid can sign Alexander-Arnold as a free agent. However, wanting the right-back to join them before the Club World Cup, the Spanish Giants will be willing to negotiate a lucrative deal with Liverpool.

As per the reports, from BBC, Real Madrid is willing to offer Liverpool approximately £850,000 to acquire Alexander-Arnold before the Club World Cup. The 26-year-old will part ways with the Reds after making his senior debut almost a decade ago.

Real Madrid has struggled to fill the position at right back following the injury situation. Dani Carvajal has been out since the beginning of the year as Fede Valverde has filled in. With the Club World Cup approaching, the Los Blancos will be keen to add a stud to their team of jewels.

Among the many reporting the possibility of Alexander-Arnold playing in the Spanish Capital, journalist Fabrizio Romano has also affirmed the news of his early move.

Quoting on his social media report, the Italian reporter said: “Real Madrid maintains their hope to get Trent Alexander-Arnold at the club before the Club World Cup, as always planned internally. Discussions to continue on compensation, but in any case, TAA will be a Real Madrid player soon, as reported yesterday.”
