Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are in a fight for the WWE Women’s World Tag Team titles against Lyra Valkyria and her new tag team partner. Her initial partner was Bayley, However, it appears she has been injured after somebody attacked her backstage at WrestleMania 41 Night 1. The champions have denied any kind of involvement in this though. Lyra Valkyria will have to find a new tag team partner for herself. This match is a part of the card at WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2 on April 20, 2025.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are entering the match as the heel champions. Both are presently “The Judgement Day” members. On the other hand, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria were the babyface tag team in the fight. Lyra Valkyria has already become the very first WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Her in-ring skills alongside Bayley’s knowledge would have made them formidable opponents for the Champions. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, the defending WWE Women’s Tag Team champions will be clashing against Lyra Valkyria and a new partner of her choosing. Morgan and Rodriguez have been successful as three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at WrestleMania 41.

On the other hand, Lyra Valkyria now faces a significant challenge in finding another partner in the next 24 hours. The whole match depends on that. Even if she manages to do that, it will take time for them to gel together and get used to each other’s styles as a tag team That being said, Lyra Valkyria is also the first WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion but it is still to early to make her a double champion.

As for the champions, they have an “ace in the hole” in the form of “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. He might interfere in the match, given his relationship with Liv Morgan. This might cost the challengers the match. Moreover, this might also keep the fans interested in the “Judgement Day” faction.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are expected to still be the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions once the match ends. However, this can be a good thing for Lyra Valkyria even if she and her partner loses. Lyra Valkyria can go back to focus on defending her Women’s Intercontinental title until she gets another opportunity to challenge for the tag team titles. By then, Lyra Valkyria will have developed considerably as a wrestler on the main roster and the WWE creative time might think about making her a double champion.
