Bayley has turned himself into one of the biggest names in the women’s division in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). She has won several titles over the years, which helped her to cement her position in the main roster of WWE.

Bayley’s match was at WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2 on April 20, 2025. She was all set to team up with relative newcomer and WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria. They were to challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez of “The Judgement Day” for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Bayley found herself to be the target of attack backstage and suffered an injury. So, what really happened?

What happened to Bayley and who could have attacked her backstage?

Bayley found herself attacked backstage on WrestleMania Night 1 on April 19, 2025. Her partner Lyra Valkyria alongside with the medical team and Raw general manager Adam Pierce was checking in on her. Notably, the Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez claimed that they had nothing to do with it. The reason behind this incident has been brought forward for the fans. Notably, Bayley did not really get attcked and suffered an injury. Pro Wrestling Insider Elite has stated that this was an angle as per Wrestling Inc. WWE creative team had planned to remove her “several weks” ago. Lyra Valkyria still needs a new partner for her match on April 20, 2025.

Who will be Lyra Valkyria’s partner in the tag team match versus Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez?

Bayley’s removal from the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship has created a new problem for Lyra Valkyria. She has to find a new tag team partner in the next 24 hours. This might signal the return of “The Man” Becky Lynch, who might become her tag team partner in the match.

Notably, Becky Lynch had been absent from WWE for a year. That being said, she is in Las Vegas as per Wrestling Headlines. Moreover, she also attended the 2025 Hall of Famer guest ceremony with her husband Seth Rollins as per Wrestling Inc.
