The timing of Kara-France’s post is particularly interesting given some recent drama behind the scenes. Alexandre Pantoja’s teammate, Adriano Moraes, recently let slip in an interview that a planned matchup between Pantoja and Kara-France was apparently canceled. Moraes suggested that Manel Kape might get the title shot instead following his impressive performances. But this hasn’t been confirmed either.
