JD McDonagh Injury Update: What Happened to JD McDonagh?

JD McDonagh to be out of WWE for a couple of months owing to the injuries he sustained during the match against War Raiders.

It seems problems are following Judgment Day wherever they go. Liv Morgan lost her title to Rhea Ripley at the beginning of the year. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh lost their tag team title to War Raiders. Finn got brutally injured during a fight with Damian Priest. He and JD McDonagh were scheduled to face War Raider for the tag team title but his injury added Dominic Mysterio to fight.

What happened to JD McDonagh?

JD McDonagh was part of the most brutal tag team match against the War Raiders on Raw. His head and neck whiplashed off the edge of the announce table while trying a Spring Board Moonsault to the outside. JD McDonagh still finished the match despite the nasty landing but ended up on the losing side.

JD McDonagh suffered from a punctured lung and a couple of broken ribs. Michael Cole on commentary stated that he was lucky he didn’t break his neck. Triple H, Adam Pearce, and the officials continuously checked on him for the extent of injuries. He was rushed to hospital after the match.

When will JD McDonagh be back?

JD McDonagh was lucky that he didn’t suffer an injury to his skull or neck. He shared an update on X stating, he would be back in a couple of months. Judgment Day was already going through a civil war. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh are out of WWE owing to injury which means Dominic Mysterio will be leading Judgment Day. WWE will hope Finn Balor and JD McDonagh recover soon as the injury scare has kept numerous superstars out of WWE.
