The former Independiente Juniors star was travelling in a Ford Explorer with four other people when the tragic accident happened.
Along with the midfielder, two more people were killed in the accident. Independiente Juniors star Roberto Cabezas Simisterra and Víctor Charcopa Nazareno, the cousin of Cuniburo Fútbol Club player Diogo Nazareno also passed away.
