But a new stat on the 2023 MVP has left Philadelphia fans speechless. During the 76ers’ dominant win over the Lakers on Tuesday, a stat flashed across the screen that caught fans off guard. Embiid, in his 9 seasons in the NBA, has played 446 games, and missed 400 due to injuries and suspensions.

The stat has taken the internet by storm, with fans absolutely baffled by the numbers.

For a player of his caliber, his inconsistency has become a central theme of his career. Over his nine seasons with the 76ers, Embiid has averaged an impressive 27.8 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. When he plays, he is undeniably one of the best in the league. But the injuries, starting from his foot issues in 2014, have plagued him throughout his career.

The good news for the Sixers fans is that Embiid has returned to practice and participated in light training exercises on Monday. However, his return to court is still few weeks away.
