Bronny James exploded in his G League return on Friday.
James trending for a stellar performance in the NBA is nothing new. But this time, it was James Jr. making waves on social media. On Friday, Bronny James led the G League’s South Bay Lakers to a big win with a stellar performance.
Bronny dropped a career-high 31 points in the Lakers’ win over the RIP City Remix. While his scoring was impressive, it was his jaw-dropping dunk that had everyone talking.
The 20-year-old delivered a vicious poster dunk over Sterling Manley. Late in the third quarter, James dribbled around a screen and drove down the lane for a thunderous dunk over Manley, leaving the crowd stunned. Even Bronny himself seemed in awe of his own move.
What made it even more special? The dunk was a near carbon copy of the one his father, LeBron James, pulled off the night before against the Celtics.

The 20-year-old was recalled by Lakers in January but spent most of his time watching his dad terrorising the opponents from the sidelines. He did make brief appearances in Lakers last three games but couldn’t contribute with points.
