Los Angeles Lakers (22-17) will take on their inter-city NBA rivals, LA Clippers (23-17) for the first time this season. The Lakers survived against the Brooklyn Nets through D’Angelo Russell‘s missing shot before the buzzer time and the Clippers routed the same team by a franchise record of 59 points.

LA Clippers kick off their five-game homestand and are on a three-game winning streak. On the flip note, the Lakers ended their three-game homestand with 2-1. It will be a battle between the Clippers’ lethal defense and the Lakers’ sharp offense.

LeBron James is listed as probable for the road game. However, the Lakers may struggle to counter the Clippers’ defense as their key player, Anthony Davis has been upgraded to questionable. He missed out previous game against the Nets due to left plantar fasciitis.

Jaxson Hayes (right shoulder soreness) is also questionable. Dorian Finney-Smith will return after missing the last two games. Jalen Hood-Schifino (left hamstring strain), Jarred Vanderbilt (right foot surgery recovery) and Christian Wood (left knee surgery recovery) are all out.
