F1 Rumors- Christian Horner Affirms Stay with Red Bull Racing!

Christian Horner denies switching to any other team from Red Bull Racing

Christian Horner is one of the key figures at Red Bull Racing. One of the most successful and longest team principals of F1, Horner has been with Red Bull for their entire duration. He joined the team in 2005 when they made their F1 debut. Since then Horner has led the team to numerous championship, wins in their 400 race long F1 stint.

There were some rumors running amok in the paddock regarding his employment. It was suspected that Ferrari allegedly tried to sign him for the Maranello outift. Horner is the driving force behind Red Bull Racing. The rumor stated that Ferrari could hire him but it created tensions in the paddock. Horner was under a lot of pressure in 2024. He was investigated under serious accusations and for a brief moment his stay at Red Bull looked bleak.

Ferrari on the other hand is with a good team principal. Vasseur brought the team great success in 2024. The 2025 season isn’t going their way and the team is struggling for good race pace. There is very low chance of Ferrari trying to sign another team principal.

“How on earth would that work!”- Christian Horner Denies Rumors

When Christian Horner was interviewed ahead of Spanish GP, he was asked about a potential switch. Horner did not try to deny any contact from Ferrari. Instead, he turned the situation calling it flattering to be associated with other teams. Joking about language barriers, Horner said that it would not workout because he doesn’t know Italian.

Horner further confirmed his 100% commitment to Red Bull Racing.

“Of course it’s always flattering to be associated with other teams but my commitment 100 percent is with Red Bull. It always has been and certainly will be for the long-term. There’s a bunch of speculation always in this business. People coming here, going there or whatever. I think people within the team know exactly what the situation is.”

As debunked earlier at The Playoffs, these rumors are baseless. Horner is with Red Bull Racing for a long time. The Austrian team wouldn’t let go of their winning team principal. As far as Ferrari goes, they already made a big switch in 2022 and it doesn’t make sense for them repeat that after a good year in 2024.
