Full breakdown of the Blues’ 2025-26 EPL campaign.
After a strong finish to the 2024-25 campaign, Chelsea enter the 2025-26 season with renewed optimism under Enzo Maresca. Chelsea won the Conference League by defeating Real Betis in the final and they also secured a fourth-place Premier League finish.
The Blues are still competing in the FIFA Club World Cup in the U.S., which has also limited their pre-season to just two fixtures. New arrivals like Liam Delap have adjusted nicely to life at Chelsea and a resurgent midfield led by Enzo Fernandez set up an intriguing year for Chelsea.
Their Premier League opener is just days after the Club World Cup final, which could test their early-season sharpness. But with a talented squad, Chelsea’s title hopes could gain traction quickly if they start strong.
On the Final Day of both 2014/15 and 2016/17 seasons, Chelsea beat Sunderland and lifted the Premier League title 🏆🏆

The first major test against a traditional rival comes on September 20 with a visit to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United, followed closely by a home clash against Liverpool on October 4. Another derby against Tottenham Hotspur awaits Chelsea on November 1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Chelsea then host Arsenal in a pivotal fixture on November 29.
After the turn of the year, Chelsea face a demanding stretch in April where they host both Manchester City and Manchester United on consecutive weekends. The season concludes with a blockbuster run-in featuring Liverpool away (May 9), Tottenham at home (May 17), and a final-day trip to newly promoted Sunderland on May 24.
