Liverpool Premier League 2025-26 Fixtures: Full Schedule, Key Matches and More

Sankalp Harikrishnan

The champions begin their campaign on August 15 at home.

The Premier League champions will be returning to action soon, as the fixtures for the 2025-26 English football season were announced on Wednesday. Arne Slot’s men made history last season by regaining their lost crown, and will be desperate to retain the championship after a challenging couple of months.

Liverpool will begin their upcoming campaign at fortress Anfield – they will welcome AFC Bournemouth on 15 August to kick-start their title defence. The Cherries impressed in the season gone by, shepherded potently by Andoni Iraola. Additionally, the Reds will see off a high intensity opening month with fixtures against Newcastle United as well as Arsenal.

Ahead of the new season, Liverpool have recharged their squad. Bayer Leverkusen duo of Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz have been announced as blockbuster signings. While Frimpong is a like-for-like replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, Wirtz will slot into the Reds’ midfield. However with star midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai announcing that he “won’t give up his place easily,” it will be interesting to see how Slot sets up the side.

Here are the fixtures for Liverpool FC ahead of the 2025-26 English Premier League season:
