Attention Tifosis! Charles Leclerc Will Miss Media Day at the Imola GP!

Rohan Singh

Know more about Leclerc's absence at Imola today.

The Tifosi were eagerly waiting for one of their most favorite races this weekend. The Emilia-Romagna GP is one of the home races for Ferrari. The Prancing Horses are a team based in Maranello, Italy. Imola, as the race is fondly know, is a legendary and historic track for F1 and Tifosi.

But, Thursday is bringing a worry some news for Ferrari and their fans. Their best driver for the past few races is not feeling well. Due to this, he will be missing the Media day on Thursday. This new news opens up a cluster of possibilities for the upcoming weekend.

Will Charles Leclerc Participate in Imola GP?

Yes, as of now, Ferrari have made it clear that Leclerc is not in trouble. His condition is not serious and he will be taking part in Free Practice this Friday.

This confirmation brings an air of relief to Formula 1 fans. Leclerc has been the standout driver for the Rosso Corsa colors since start of 2025. He brought them their sole podium in Jeddah.

Ferrari is already facing dramatic issues in performance this year. If Leclerc were to miss the race, it would bring bad news for Ferrari. Charles Leclerc’s absence would lead a serious loss of points.

The affect of his absence in the team is amplified by Lewis Hamilton’s pace issues. Hamilton is not feeling confident or optimistic about his car. Leclerc is the only driver Ferrari can rely on for the time being.

Who May Replace Charles if He Misses Imola GP?

Ferrari had many options to choose from in case their star driver doesn’t race. They have experienced reserve drivers and Formula 2 rookies in their roster.

In any case, the Prancing Horses won’t face any trouble in replacing Charles Leclerc this weekend. But, the biggest question mark lies on the performance of his replacement. In a car which is hardly getting points every weekend, Ferrari can’t expect miracles to happen. Oliver Bearman’s debut last year was also a testament to their speed. This year they have no such advantage.
