Canadian Grand Prix Schedule- Timings and Dates of Free Practice, Qualifying and Race Day!

Know all about the Schedule for the Canadian Grand Prix this weekend.

Formula 1 was on a one week break after it’s second triple header. The triple-header weekend ended up bringing surprising changes to championship. The top-3 drivers in the championship each managed to win a race in the triple-header. Oscar Piastri is the latest race winner in F1.

The entire entourage will now move over from Europe to Canada. The Canadian Grand Prix schedule will follow the regular race weekend schedules. There will three free practice sessions, one qualifying and one final race on Sunday. The Canadian Grand Prix is among the crucial races for both drivers and teams before the summer break in F1. McLaren are inevitably taking away the championship this year. Their drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris have the best odds for winning the drivers championship in the 2025 season.

Canadian Grand Prix Schedule- Free Practice Sessions

The first two free practice sessions will be held on Friday. The last and final free practice for the weekend will take place on Saturday hours before qualifying.

The Canadian Grand Prix is in for a lot of suspense from Aston Martin F1. Lance Stroll is finally returning to action this weekend. His return is good news for Aston Martin who had to make hard decisions for switching drivers for the weekend.

Canadian Grand Prix Schedule- Qualifying Session

The qualifying for Canadian GP will take place over one hour on Saturday, June 14. The session is going to be divided into three stages. The top-10 and pole position for the starting grid will be decided in the final stage of qualifying.

Canadian Grand Prix Schedule- Race Day

The final event, the Canadian GP is scheduled from 2:00 PM track time on Sunday, 15th May. F1 will host 70 laps of racing around the Circuit Gilles – Villeneuve. The defending winner of the race is Max Verstappen for Red Bull Racing. I. 2024, Verstappen trumped Norris in a wet/ dry race. However, things looks grim for the Dutch champion this weekend.
