Bruno Fernandes has recently been the subject of strong interest from several Saudi Pro League sides including Al-Hilal.
Bruno Fernandes has spoken out about his future at Manchester United following the team’s disappointing 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final in Bilbao. The result ended United’s chances of salvaging something from a difficult season and the result made sure that they will miss out on European football next season.
The Portuguese midfielder has been one of United’s standout performers in the competition with seven goals and four assists in 14 matches. However, Fernandes struggled to make an impact in the final after being deployed in a deeper central midfield role rather than his usual No. 10 position. His influence was limited as Ruben Amorim’s side failed to break down a disciplined Tottenham setup.
Speaking to the Portuguese media after the game, Fernandes reaffirmed his desire to stay at Old Trafford, but acknowledged that the decision may ultimately rest with the club’s hierarchy.
Fernandes said,
“I will be here until the club tells me it is time to leave. I am available to make the club have great days again.”
“The day the club thinks I am too much, or it is time to leave, football is like that and you never know. If the club thinks it is time to leave, because they want to make some money, that is what it is and football is like that sometimes.”
Bruno Fernandes has recently been the subject of strong interest from several Saudi Pro League sides including Al-Hilal. With United preparing for a summer rebuild after recording their lowest-ever Premier League finish, the possibility of a lucrative transfer remains on the table. The 30-year-old’s departure could provide much-needed funds for the club to reshape the squad under Amorim’s leadership.

Fernandes also offered his full backing to manager Ruben Amorim, urging the club to maintain stability and show faith in the project. Fernandes said,
“It’s not my decision, I think Ruben Amorim is the right person. I know it’s difficult to understand, but I still believe he’s the right coach.”
“The club is in a situation where it’s easy to have a new coach because the results haven’t been there. But I think he is the right man.”
