Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium will host Super Bowl LXII in February 2028, following the NFL's official announcement at the Fall League Meeting.
The NFL has announced that Super Bowl LXII in 2028 will take place at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
This will mark the fourth time Georgia’s capital hosts the Super Bowl. Previous games include Super Bowl XXVIII in January 1994 and Super Bowl XXXIV in January 2000, both held at the Georgia Dome, and Super Bowl LIII in February 2019, which also took place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
“Renowned for its hospitality and rich sports and entertainment culture, Atlanta is a world-class event destination and a natural fit for Super Bowl 62,” said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.”

“Arthur Blank has been a transformative figure in the Atlanta community, playing a crucial role in leading the bid to bring the Super Bowl back to the city. I have been fortunate to witness firsthand how Arthur continues to drive community engagement and economic development in the Atlanta community through his unwavering commitment to sports and philanthropy.”
He continued, “We look forward to working with him, the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Sports Council and all of our partners on the ground to create an unforgettable experience for fans around the world in 2028.”
Leading up to Super Bowl LXII, Atlanta will host a series of major events like NFL Honors, Super Bowl Experience, Super Bowl Opening Night, and a comprehensive community program. These events will spread across the Atlanta metropolitan area, giving both locals and visitors plenty of opportunities to enjoy memorable, family-friendly activities before the big game.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Super Bowl back to Atlanta in 2028 for a fourth time,” said Dan Corso, president of the Atlanta Sports Council and Atlanta Super Bowl Bid Committee.

I write about sports because, well, it brings in the big bucks! I’m not some lifelong analyst or stats guru, truth being told, you've probably never heard of me!—I just know how to research, write, and make things sound good. That’s the job!
Got into sports media the same way most people do: by (fortunate) accident. Started with SEO writing, took on a few sports gigs, and now here we are! I cover games, trades, player drama—whatever needs words.
Favorite part? The chaos. One day it's a blockbuster trade, the next it's a goat running onto the field. Never boring.
Message to readers: If you want deep analysis, there are people for that. If you want sharp, no-BS writing that actually makes sense, stick around.
