Dominic Mysterio pulled off another successful title defence, this time against, The Bulgarian Brut, Rusev. This is second victory against Rusev who has been a force to reckon with ever since he returned to WWE. Both these victories has few things in common, a successful title defence and a low blow to Rusev. Rusev will not let it go and might ask for another title shot at the Intercontinental Championship.

He now have a title reign of 183 days as he has successfully defended he title ever since he won it at WrestleMania. Not only that, he added another title around his waist, AAA Mega Championship. He will face Dragon Lee for the AAA Mega Championship but the former need to be cautious.
