Judgment Day’s Title Reign Ends, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee Are The New World Tag Team Champions

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee teamed up to end the Judgment Day’s 112 day title reign. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of Judgment Day fought the team of AJ Styles and Dragon Lee to defend their title but failed to get past them. AJ Styles delivered a Styles Clash to Finn Balor and pinned him to secure gold for his team. He and Dragon Lee are the new World Tag Team Champion.

This victory will give Dragon Lee the much need momentum in his upcoming match where he will face Dominic Mysterio for the AAA Mega Championship. AJ Styles has been giving the performance of his life, first at his match against John Cena at Crown Jewel, which was an instant classic. He now showed why he his The Phenomenal One, when he defeated Judgment Day to become the World Tag Team Champion.

Will Losing The Title Create A Divide in Judgment Day?

Believe it or not, it was Dominic Mysterio who was indirectly involved in getting Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to defend their title against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. He approached Adam Pearce last week during Monday Night Raw while he was with AJ Styles and mentioned that he is defending his title on a weekly basis, and he seems to be the only working champion here.

AJ Styles pointed out that he and Dragon Lee can team up to go against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of Judgment Day for the World Tag Team Gold. Adam Pearce loved the idea and instantly gave them the match. JD McDonagh and Finn Balor seemed to have a disagreement with Dominic Mysterio tonight before they went on to defend their title against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.
